House of 1000 corpses

I have heard time and time again that House of 1000 corpses is being either toned down or rejected by some major distributor. I have not seen a good horror flick for a long time and "House" from what I hear has great potential. Waiting much longer just may kill me. Right now I think I would settle for House of 72 corpses. Somebody please give me some good news about the release of this movie.

Welcome to the house, then. The toliets don't work, the faucets usually produce green goo instead of water, and the bathtub has something in it from a Lovecraft novel, but it's comfy for us.

Hey: I went to robzombie.com and found a little scoop about the film.

3-29-2001 Several People ask:
"What is going on with 'House of 1000 Corpses'???"
ROB: The movie is in the process of changing to a new distributor...DON'T WORRY!!! You WILL see this film in its most INTENSE version!

Thank god. Now we don't have to worry about seeing it in all its gory details.

So, does anyone here actually READ the site? No offense billy, but we got that a while ago, along with an exclusive Ryan got at Spaltterpalooza about studios wanting him to add more intense stuff to it. Sheesh.
