This goddamn Packers offensive line has cost me at least ten fantasy points tonight.

Bears is worse.

THat helmet contact is going to cost a team a playoff game.
Geez...this helmet rule is kind of well... Blah

Good job for giving up 15 yards Green Bay.
Speaking of penalties, my pet peeve is offensive holding being ten yards. I just think it's so excessive. One holding penalty is nearly an instant drive killer.

Culter got nailed though. Cheap shot.

Packers are a very undisciplined team. A bit dirty too. Matthews tried to rip Cutler's head off earlier.

They won't get to the SB with all these mental errors.
Tell me about it 5 yards at least. 10? Yeah. Drive killer.
A long bomb from Rodgers to Jennings would do me a whole lot of good right now.
Half the holding penalties stop a QB from getting sacked over 5 yards. It's a legit distance.

Yeah it was a cheap shot, driving up like that on the QB and making his head jerk back like that will always be called. I've just seen too many iffy calls. But I understand the league is wanting to protect their players.

I could use a Finley TD for no other reason then to boost up my score haha

I can see the Packers chewing up alot of clock and just winning this thing with a field goal.
I'd just like to see a Jennings reception to prove he's actually still in the game. He's vanished since that touchdown.
Oh damn I stand corrected. No way is that call over tuned.

So... Bears milk the clock for a late field goal?

You should be rooting for Chicago. We gave you Rex Grossman in the Super Bowl.
Never been a fan of deep passes being called intentional grounding. Every time a receiver runs the wrong route you could see a penalty called. And it calls into question every time a QB throws it out of the back of the end zone.
He didn't run the wrong route. I've seen ref not call it as long as it lands in bounds and the qb argue the wrong route. Rogers was under pressure and chucked it.

1 more fisrst down and Bears win.

Ha ha I'm pulling for the Bears. I lived in Chicago for some time so I still root for them. Plus, I can't stand the Packers.

Fun fact about Grossman, he's from Bloomington, Indiana. So I guess he was kind of given back to us?

Hahahahaha the ol' chuck the ball in the air and hope for a pass interfernce call.
Bears better not fuck this up
Packers might have wanted to let the Bears score there.
Cutler should just drop back and take a knee here.
Baffled why the Packers didn't let them score on any of those three plays, especially when they had a timeout left.

he should have. Don't give Rogers a minute to tie it. he will.
Packers killed themselves with penalties tonight.

Especially that last pass interference call. Make the guy beat you and make the catch, don't just give it to them.
Not going to win many games having 17 penalties.

Packers aren't that good. Very young, no running game, bad special teams.

Jay Cutler is from Indiana as well, you're welcome? Haha also! Drew Brees went to college in Indiana and Peyton Manning plays for the Colts... So I don't know where I'm going with this.

If you don't remember the Bears beat your Steelers last year.

3-0 is ver surprising. People still picked the Steelers 3-1 w/ big Ben out but nobody had Bears/Chiefs 3-0.

And the Bears schedule till bye week isn't daunting-@NY Giants, @Carolina, vs Seattle, vs Washington. Right after the Bye is @ Buffalo so the Bears can easily be 7-1. And that's without an offensive line.

Whis the Bears could trade a couple of first round picks for a Tackle and Guard.

Did I hear that right on the radio this morning? Green Bay had 18 penalties and Chicago had 5? Good lord.
And Green Bay had a couple of holds go unflagged too.

I'm more shocked if anything. I thought we'd be 1-2 or 0-3. I'm going to continue picking against them the rest of the year.

I do remember, very vividly. Very sad day. Heartbreaking loss. We're like 2-11 in Chicago if I remember.

I don't think anyone had us at 3-0. Most I read said we'd be lucky to get to 2-2, or some even had us at 1-3. My worry now is how rusty will Big Ben be, BUT he does come back on a bye week, and then Cleveland the next week.

They held Peppers on every play it seemed.

So it seems 18 game season is going to happen. Personaly I'm not a fan of it.

I hate it. I've yet to hear from any of these "fans" Goodell claims have spoken out for it. It's bad for the players, it's bad for the fans. It only helps the owners, which I guess is the reason it's happening.
The only upside is that it eliminates two preseason games. But in my view, just eliminate two preseason games and stay with the 16-game season. Nobody needs to see those 4th preseason games. And I mean nobody.
Howie Long was right to hate it on the Fox show. If they do it the need to expand the roster and add bye weeks.

I hate it too. I can just imagine ine increase in injuries.

Only people who like it are the 72 Dolphins.
Well, if the commish's Twitter is real, I just asked him if he was retarded for wanting to expand the season to 18.

16 is absolutely perfect because it makes EVERY game matter. With 18, they'd be like MLB, NBA, and NHL with too many games.
It's just my fear of injury as well. The players are already beat to all hell after the 16 game stretch.

The only plus side is that now one of my preseason tickets are going to be for real games. If this was "for the fans" then they would charge way cheaper prices for the pre-season games.
You want a good conspiracy theory? There's stories flying all over Tampa that people were told as early as Tuesday of last week that the Bucs/Steelers game was sold out. People going to Ticketmaster were unable to find tickets, save for isolated single seats scattered around the stadium. Then, Thursday morning, hours before the blackout deadline, thousands of tickets suddenly became available online. The theory goes that owners are deliberately holding back tickets to guarantee blackouts so they can go to the players at the CBA negotiations and plead how hard up they are.

Not possible as far as I know. In stadiums where they "rope off" seats and make them unavailable (like Jacksonville) those decisions must be made prior to the season beginning and can't be changed mid-season. Rope off 15,000 seats so that you have a chance of sell-outs? You'd better hope your team doesn't surprisingly play better than expected because you absolutely can't sell those seats the entire season long.
The idea isn't that they tarped over seats and then suddenly made those seats available, it's that they deliberately held back tickets for available seats until it was too late for sales of those tickets to stop the blackout.
When the 18-game format hits, I can't wait for the Colts to get to 14-0. Those last four games would be riveting.

I'm just saying the seat thing is pretty closely monitored. I just don't buy that something so easily verifiable was done.

It's so riveting to watch Manning on the bench with his helmet on.

The whole 18-game schedule thing makes me sick. It is a terrible, terrible idea. Fans like the season length the way it is, but owners don't give shit because they know if they add two more games we have no choice but to pony up.

Huh? Fans have already been charged through the nose, with teams forcing people to buy preseason game tickets with their season tickets. If anything, this actually helps the guy who actually attends the games because he'll only be paying for 1 crummy preseason game instead of 2. The TV money for those 2 extra games is what the league cares about, not the gate revenue that you're talking about people ponying up for.

Dear incoming rookies,

XOXO,

How the hell do you spend $54,896 for dinner??
And how many hungry families could have been fed for what it cost to teach a rookie a lesson?
