Just further proof that this movie is going to be ass.

All hope is officially lost.

Practically screams direct-to-video, doesn't it?

Jeez, zod, why wait til opening day to fuck the poster? I'm sure some theaters around you will have it early...

I hope that the movie is better than that poster.

Being that it's John Carpenter, it could go either way. his movies either rock, or suck, and I hope this one doesn't suck.

The music should be interesting though. It's done by Buckethead (who may or may not still be in Guns 'N Roses).

Looks like they got a Full Moon employee to make that thing, damn it's awful.

girlcreature hit the nail right on the head with that statement.

Maybe to cut corners and save some dough, they did just that. j/k

Don't forget, JC was doing cheesy horror flicks long before Full Moon was (Halloween 3, the Fog).

I guess that means he's come full circle. Making posters that are crappy knockoffs of movie boxes that ripped off his movies.

--Phew-- That was a breathful.

I think a more fitting poster would be one similar to Star Trek Insurrection's with that ominous face's weird sillouette looking down on Mars.

Would've been better than I Know What You Did on Mars.

Vladimir: I can't go on like this.
Estragon: That's what you think.

Wow.

Natasha "I'm famous for taking my clothes off then refusing to do so again" Henstridge has higher billing on a John Carpenter movie then Carpenter.

I own every poster to every Carpenter flick, even Village of the Damned which sucks.

What sucks more then Ghost of Mars? None. None sucks more so then this.

As many of you know, I'm a graphic designer, and let me tell ya, that is CRAP. I would cut off my left-frickin hand to do posters and movie related artwork for a living and the numbnuts who get paid to do it screw it up like this.

There is officially no justice in the world, bring on the Apocalypse.

Gimme a bit. I'm workin' on it.

A Dark view of Mars would've been a lot better. That poster wreaks. Probably as good as Virus, which was a waste of film.

If I'm not mistaken, a lot of poeple thought the poster for "JC's The Thing" was bad too. Fortunately for most of us CHUDians the Thing poster had no reflection on the movie success.

The poster is perfect. The only thing it lacks is a dragon emblemmed wife beater T-shirt containing Jack Burton.

Anyone ever hear anything on adapation of 'The Stars My Destination' Carpenter wanted to do? I know he really wanted to get it off of the ground, but, for some reason, couldn't do it. That would be a great flick, I think.
