30 Rock: Season 5 - Page 9

Yeah, fail on my part. I mixed up my Matt Damon movies.

GAVEL GAVEL GAVEL!!!

What a straaaaange episode.  So WOOL.

"Ohhhh yea... you still have crumbs in your beard."

"Ooohhhh, eat it."

Man, I'll echo the sentiments that this episode was strange as all hel.

"Bravo sir, very wool."

Weird as hell, but pretty damn funny.

I felt seriously scared for Kenneth for a second!

And Judge Dredd!

Victor Garber was great.

Very WOOL.

Remember when this thread has one page of replies the day after...slow traffic indeed. vvclub has a long dissection on this season as a whole.

Yeah people kinda moved on to Community....didn't see either show (I felt like watching baseball) but I plan on watching them after work tonight.

"A singer, ladies and gentlemen!" And then the Wool Mascot doing its creepy dance.

30 Rock got a little hit and miss over the last 2 seasons, but it's been on quite a roll lately.  I didn't even hate the clip show, when it aired the same night as Community's clip-show-to-show-up-all-clip-shows.   Even Kenneth had a great subplot for the first time in forever.

Best bits:

Paul telling off the sitter

Kenneth listing the ways people lose spouses ("Mumps, Hill People attacks, Cave collapses, both business and residential.  To continue my list...")

The clear winner was the guy cutting off his explanation for why his wife wouldn't tolerate sexual farce.  "Also because her parents were murdered in front of her while an episode of Three's Company...you know, I'll just let her tell the story at dinner."

The guy?  THE GUY?!?! You refer to Victor Garber with due respect.

Kenneth doing Avery doing Kenneth was amazing.

I spent way more time than I needed to trying to figure out what the hell the mascot was supposed to be before giving up and just going with it.

Also that sheep puppet cracked me up more than it probably should have.

Between this and Community I feel like Faye Dunaway getting slapped by Nicholson. "30 Rock!" SLAP! "Community!" SLAP! "30 ROCK!" SLAP! "Community!"

Lutz, what are you doing?!

Don't look at me!

Jack making bedroom eyes at Kenneth had me literally rolling on the couch laughing.

I would give a lot to see Wooly and the Greendale Human Being together in something. Anything. Even a porn film.

Loved the sheep Puppet at Jenna's meeting. And yeah Judge Dredd..."Gavel, Gavel, Gavel"

I NEED MORE TIME JACOB!!!

So am reading right that 30 Rock is being pushed back to mid season in favor of a Whitney Cummings sitcom?

It sucks, but I'd imagine it has more to do with Tina Fey's pregnancy than anything else.

Yes, otherwise Baldwin won´t have to worry about "leaving" the show.
