HOUSE Season 7

We got to see a LOT of Lisa Cuddy last night.

My wife walked in on me watching the HOUSE premiere and asked what the hell I was watching... I think she thought I was watching a nudie movie on Cinemax.

I'm sure screencaps will be all over the internets today.

Liked this episode a lot. House really can't let himself be happy, can he.
Yes but where has 13 gone? I have to get that Alpha Dog blu-ray.
It got shit ratings for House(10 mil) so this could be the last year. DWTS doubled it.

Looking forward to this version of House and more naked Cuddy.
I want links to naked Cuddy.
It took them long enough to add Jacobson and Wilde to the opening credits. It was an okay premiere.
I'm just glad they didn't pull another "Cuddy is a hallucination" thing again. That commercial break had me groaning.

Chase is quite a ladies man. Entertaining episode last night.

Hmmm. I wish Chang would have taken the job. I hope they at least keep her on in a minor role, possibly as House's baby consultant.
Did House really say Chang could have the job?

Glad House is getting back to more interesting territory. Amber Tamblyn is just what HOUSE needs to butt heads with.

Watching the gang get sent to jail was ACES.
Yeah, I totally thought the goody goody was going to have spitefully called the cops on them somehow. But no mention of that.

so was the webcam girl translating Danish? What an awesome bit.. First time in a while where the mystery disease was better than the House/cuddy/wilson stuff.
Why hasn't Stephen Fry been cast as a guest on this show yet? Bones already made a move. Your turn, House.

Foreman at the wedding was the best part of last night's stinker of an episode.

well it's nice to see Matthew Lillard working again! I will say the drugging Cuddy's Mom and Wilson was rather funny.

Not a bad episode.  The time House spends on Cuddy antics is overpowering though.  I'm surprised they even had him come in to figure out the disease at the last moment there.

Ehh nobody watches House anymore except me.

some funny stuff last night.  The MOD SQUAD call out was hilarious.  As well as Foreman and Taub buying the answers to the test.

really fun episode last night with the House talking to elementary school kids. Just the way his story was intercut with the 2 kids playground story was awesome.

Nice to see House having a little fun. Loved the Thunderbolt and Lightfoot homage, but damn if I didn't want to pop that little girl in the eye. Something about her overt bossiness just rubbed me the wrong way. Basically, I picture her growing up to be "hot badass chick who always has something to prove and cannot ever be broken or beaten because she's the goddess' bees'-fucking-knees", like Number 6 in I Am Number Four. Good acting, disliked the character.

I'm all for more zombies on HOUSE. The Axe cane and cane shotgun was indeed awesome. House back on drugs.. not so awesome.

AXE-CANE, MOTHERFUCKERS. With optional shotgun-attachment.

Also, Lisa Edelstein with guns on her hips gave me some massively-huge wood.

I'm not a fan of Masters, but "Don't hate the statistician, hate the statistic" was great.

House jumping from the hotel floor was quite an awesome ending. Just watching him with the party college kids was such an amazing shot. I guess House on Vicadin really does make the show better.

Also props to the hot asian hooker who got shot with the bow and arrow.

Yea I liked parts of this one, though it's been pointed out that they're taking House the character so over the top now (Let's buy 50 hookers) that there isn't any real character development.  Imagine how much more poignant that final cannonball scene would have been if they had written this ep the way they were writing things 3 years ago.

Dear god Masters, just start drinking already! The writers seem hell bent on removing any love or hope for humanity she stalwartly clings to after this last one.

That was a pretty goddam good episode.

It was. I always liked 13, and at least they allowed her a little character development.

This show really missed Olivia Wilde. I had no idea how much until this episode. She carried the show - Hugh Laurie was a supporting player.

The rest of the season needs to be heavily focused on House, Wilson and 13. With the Cuddy romance done, those three should be the core.

Olivia Wilde is one seriously attractive woman. I wonder if the writers are thinking about a House/13 hookup next?

awesome episode which was the knee to the nuts HOUSE needed. So glad 13 is back.

Apparently, the dude whom Thirteen went knee-to-nuts with was none other than Damon Lindelof.

Interesting to see Foreman and Chase have their own little House/Wilson thing going on. Other than that, an ok episode with Donal Logue helping make it better.

my dvr cut off as Wilson was helping House to go pee.. anything happen after that? or was that the end?

Wilson told him "You can't keep going like this." and House stumbled a bit and said dramatically..."I know."

This damn show.

Yeah, nothing happened after that. Though, I didn't get to see the preview for next week, or was this the season finale.??

If it was it was the best episode of the season. Watching HOuse trying to remove his own tumors in his leg, wow!!

There's another episode tomorrow. They still have to set up a cliffhanger of sorts.

I'm not normally a fan of the showing aftermath then '3 days earlier' but the ending of the episode was quite satisfyingly cathartic for House that I forgive them. It did feel out of place though. Still, they had to have a reason to contrast Wilson's description of where to find House and where he actually ended up.

Except Hoouse could have killed someone.  Stupid ending.

Stupid crap that could kill people, isn't that's what House does every episode?

What a weird ending. When he's happily strolling along the beach, what are we supposed to feel?

"Oh, that rascally House! For all he knew, he was killing 5 people, including the woman he claimed to love and her daughter. That's so HOUSE!"

I know it's a cliche, but are we sure there wasn't a pit with a shark in it around there somewhere?

That reminded me of the episode of Seinfeld where George's fiancee dies and no one cares. They had made use of escalating narcissism so often that the only way to raise the bar was to have their characters behave in a far more extreme (loathsome) manner than ever before. I'll probably wait until next season to decide for sure, but I think House just jumped his shark for me.

When House smiles, I smile. So yeah I did smile once I saw House out on the beach. But the fact that he could have killed Cuddy's daughter is more than a little disturbing.

Yeah imnot sure what they were thinking with that ending.

But House does that in an attempt to save people.  This was beyond stupid.

I know you guys are right. But I feel like we're just supposed to believe that there was a suitably low probability that House was actually going to hit anyone. I guess it would have been nice to show why that would be the case but that assumption is the only way I can feel like the episode makes any kind of sense.
