It probably would have made more sense that House killed Cuddy considering that the actress doesn't appear to be returing next season.

 

Ididn't think the ending was that that nutso. House enjoying drinks on a tropical beach somewhere maybe is supposed to say that he's completly given up on trying to have any normal relationship with anyone. The guy had lost semblence of reality. It would be nice if they finally put him in recovery so he could get over this addiction he's got. What House is doing to himself would have killed any normal person long ago!

They already had the rehab storyline and he was off the pills for all of last season and most of this one.

I think it's good that Lisa is getting out of the picture..all this romance was ruining the show. I stopped watching house after it became so full of drama.

The old will they/won't they model is dated and shows that continue to do so risk the audience gettng tired of it.  House, Bones, Castle all waited or are waiting too long.  2 Seasons should be the new max.  Audiences are different then they are in the Moonlighting/Cheers days.
