As always, once the time slot starts anyone in the group may go. How each group polices that is up to them.

The next group may go once their slot start time is reached or if everyone in the prior group has made a selection.

Ha! I did that with Dre in the 80's draft. Though to be fair, Do the Right Thing was my #1 pick. But it still felt sweet knowing it was also his.

Damn, I'm going to get slaughtered. Hopefully I'll be able to think of at least one movie after all of my potential picks are taken in the first day.

If Day 2 is Tuesday then I won't be able to pick until about 12:30-12:45, so I might hold it up a bit if everyone else in my group goes early.

The grass is always greener. One could argue the second day people lose out on their first picks, but since they draft back to back on Day 2 & 3 the likelihood of getting two top-tiered films on their wish list are good. Whereas for the Day 1 folks, by Day 4 some people might really be scrambling. I think my list is diverse enough I can weather the storm though.

Whoa, first group. Does that change things for me? I dunno. I was kind of counting on the heaviest hitters being off the board and sticking with my theme. I'll probably do that anyway, but now I am sorely tempted to take one sacred cow in particular.

I was planning on trying to get any heavy hitter I could, but now I'm thinking that even if there's some left, I might head right for the niche stuff. There's one movie in particular that I need to have, but I don't think it'll get picked before my first turn.

First Group, 9AM. I had a real sweet first rounder I planned on looking cool for taking, but now I can take anything. Changes the entire approach. I could see still not getting my first instinct with that group.

Wow. Sucks to be me - a minimum of 30 picks gone before my first. Brutal indeed.

However, I've tended to be lucky with my slots in previous drafts, getting to go early due to my timezone, so this should at least be interesting.

I'll be amazed if my number one pick has not gone by the time it gets round to me.

I'm actually starting to feel pretty confident. I think my first two back-to-back picks should be safe. After those two I'm not sure what direction I'll go. It'll be dependent on if there are any movies from the 90s that I've seen that haven't been picked, which isn't guaranteed.

You can have someone you trust to post for you. Or you can tell everyone ahead of time to skip you in the time slot and you can post your pick later in the day. Or as Anya suggested, you can offer to switch spots with someone.
