Need help remembering an old cartoon...

Pretty sure it was scifi/fantasy or prehistoric adventure series. Pretty sure it was Hanna-Barbera (could be Ruby-Spears). Had a purple/pink pterodactyl (or giant prehistoric buzzard thing) in it. It was a pet of the main characters and would often get the last cackle at the end.

I'm almost positive it's not:
MIGHTOR
THE HERCULOIDS
BIRDMAN
THUNDARR THE BARBARIAN
BLACKSTAR
SPACE GHOST
HE-MAN
GODZILLA
PIRATES OF DARKWATER

And it's certainly not THE FLINTSTONES or THE PEBBLES AND BAMM BAMM SHOW.

Unless I missed it, this list wasn't any help. Any clue?

Could possibly have been Oscar the Rabbit which seems to have had a cackling pterodactyl in it.
