The Canadian Space Agency has a live camera feed of the Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights, as seen from one of their observatories in the Northwest Territories. The camera feed runs every night starting at midnight EST. Found this on Digg earlier today.

So I wasnt able to see anything last night because I didnt stay up late enough. You can find a forcast for the borealis here: http://astronomynorth.com/aurora-forecast/

It looks like its usually most active around and after midnight MST

You got my hopes up then, but the camera is currently off. I am looking forward to checking this out when it come back.

Awesome. I definitely wanna check this out. I'll have to dig out my old ham radio just in case I'll have the opportunity to talk to my dad in the past.
