I think Marvel has to be careful with a Black Widow movie, since in the past female superheroes don't fare well in their solo efforts (Supergirl, Catwoman, Elektra, etc). Even though ScarJo is a well-known Hollywood actress who can headline her own movies, it doesn't guarantee that BW will be successful. Marvel should put this in the back burner until The Avengers and perhaps even Iron Man 3 were made, and they should treat this movie as seriously as they did for their other tentpole movies, and not do what Fox did to Elektra.

Lately? Try never. Throughout the entirety of Iron Man 2 I could almost feel Johansson's "punch the clock" approach to her performance. I never need to see this character (or at least Johansson's version) on screen again.

I am sure that a...Black Widow film would not...Bite! I would definitely be up for a film about one of the most...MARVELous superspy/heroes at Marvel. Scarlett Johanssen is such a...Well Rounded, actress, that I am fairly confident, that a, Black Widow film will not be like the poorly adapted, Catwoman or Elektra.
