Thread Starter
In the latest issue with Ryan Reynolds on the cover. One of the better lists I've seen (literally!) in awhile. Boner and Audio Central wrapped up into one. The list (no particular order):

Kim Gordon
Tina Turner
Stevie Nicks
Linda Ronstadt
M.I.A.
Grace Jones
Neko Case
Carly Simon
Alexis Krauss
Liz Phair
Françoise Hardy
Nico
Marianne Faithfull
Joan Jett
Alison Mosshart
Lauryn Hill
Fiona Apple
Cher
Susanna Hoffs
Debbie Harry
Michelle Phillips
Chrissie Hynde
Chan Marshall
Jenny Lewis
Katy Perry

Off the top of my head, missing:

Also, I'm gonna assume the word "rock" is the reason Shakira isn't on there. I don't think you can use the word "sexiest", though, and exclude Madonna.

Shakira is a glaring omission. If Katy Perry can make the list, there's no excuse for excluding Miss Hips Don't Lie.

Also, Leper...Alanis Morissette...really? She never hit my bone-ar, other than the quirky crush I had on her in the 'Ironic' video. Though that pic you posted is one of her better days.
"25 Sexiest Women in Country" would probably be a WAAAYYYY better list.

Meg White?

Inexcusable omissions:
P.J. Harvey
Pat Benetar
Kate Bush
Brody Dalle

Yes, yes, and yes. Not too familiar with Brody.
Surprised at this omission:

Though not so much this one:

I might also have added:

No Siouxsie Sioux? That's just stupid.

This list veers off the "rock"y path, to be sure....so, let's throw Olivia Newton John in there, while we're taking liberties.

Would you like snarly punk Brody?

Or Joan Jett-esque glam rock Brody?

both please
This list is invalid.

Women can't rock.

As soon as I saw this thread title, I knew it was going to miss out on Pat, but thought Kate Bush stood an outside chance (if only because the video for 'Babooshka' was on TV just the other day).

No Pat = no list worth reading.

Also, Amanda Palmer looks like a transvestite in that picture, Crow.
When I saw the list, I thought for certain that Nancy Wilson of HEART would be there.
Shirley Manson is a pretty big miss on their part.

And she may not have aged well, but 60s-era Grace Slick was sex on wheels.
No Sara Quin, no dice.
I see they're using the term "rock" very very loosely.

I'd add Hayley Williams.
Yeah, Williams is a good call, too. Bit surprised at myself for not remembering her.

Better?
Kathleen Hanna's a pretty sizeable exclusion

Linda Ronstadt? Carly Simon? Joan Jett? Who came up with this list?

This guy, maybe?

I'd get all up on that transvestite
This list has so many omissions and suspicious names that it's just another list....

Bush, Manson, Crow are all names that should have been there.
Also I hate to drag her into this, but Neko Fucking Case.
Fuck Star Wars, nbody gives George Lucas enough shit for ruining Linda Ronstadt.
I've always found Save Ferris's Monique Powell to be quite the hotty, as well.

Yeah, I admit that's probably not a popular choice, but I am very very very attracted to her. Very.

Very.

If I had to devise one of those "5 freebie" lists to submit to my wife, she would be on it.

She's actually on the GQ list. That's one they got right.

Oh, speaking of redheads, where the hell is Melissa Auf De Maur?

Hey, they also forgot The Donnas

And I presume it doesn't involves girls from METAL BAND?

There's only one cute Donna. The drummer.
Well the other 3 are still better than half the list.

Cher?

I'm with Ratty on this one. The lack of Kate Bush...

...renders this list INVALID.

I want to third the lack of the Donnas. Bret Anderson is all that is right with women.
