Mad Foxes / Los violadores (1981)

I am not given to hyperbole, and only when it is in jest do I accept hyperbole, so it is with that that I declare the Swedish/Spanish co-production of MAD FOXES to be THE GREATEST FILM EVER MADE.

Mad Foxes is essentially a contemporary (for 1981) Mad Max but with a sleazy, douchebag disco yuppie (José Gras of Conquest and Hell of the Living Dead fame) instead of a MFP officer out for revenge against a gang of vile Nazi bikers (who brutally rape an 18-year-old girl he was hoping to de-virginize, as he'd already gotten her wasted. Seriously, the "hero" of this film is a fucking lech), but with way more sex, hardcore bloodshed, castration, Nazi dominatrixes, toilet grenades, full frontal male nudity (a lot), machine-gunned old biddies in wheelchairs, disemboweled maids, virgins getting a bloody finger-bang, karate school massacres, and an almost pornographically admired Corvette Stingray.

This is the balls-to-the-wall nutso film that Machete wants to be. This is what a fucking grindhouse movie looks like. I saw this at the Alamo Drafthouse, packed theater, full on insanity. When the film ended, and boy what an ending, the crowd EXPLODED.

A Nazi biker fingerbangs a virgin and then wipes the blood in her face for Pete's sake, and this is like 8 minutes into the film, and it only gets crazier from there. Krokus provides the music. Krokus! How in God's name have I never heard of this film until a few weeks ago? How is that even possible?

Director Paul Grau (credited as Paul Gray) sticks the landing, and he sticks it hard. Find this film. Watch it. Show your friends. I promise you, I SWEAR to you, that you will not be disappointed.

Well, I'm sold. I'd fear for excessive hyperbole on your part but yeah, nazi bikers mayhem scored by fucking Krokus definitely sounds like the raddest thing ever.

By coincidence I had planned for tomorrow to head to Milan for some shopping, and there's a magnificent video store there specialized in exploitatioin of all kinds, so I'm pretty confident I'll find it there.
