I was actually trying to dig up some info on this movie today, after reading a non-spoilery review of it on the Creature Corner:

You should also know that you will soon be inindated with information about this movie from horror mags. I pray to God it's going to be big, because I trust Ryan's judgment, and he LOVED this movie. We're going to have some great stuff for it, too, of course, so stick around, slasher.

The operative word in your little rant, Bronto, is convicted. That means he's done his time and paid his debt to society. Convicted criminals are allowed to hold jobs and try to function as productive members of society just like everyone else.

Gotta agree with Innocent on this one, and trust me, that's not a comfortable feeling.

So you don't like him, you don't like what he did, and you won't see his movie. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but most of us on these here boards are aware of Salva's past, and have decided to look past it. If he makes a quality movie, ESPECIALLY a quality horror movie, then, like Innocent says, I care not what he does privately.

Couple quick questions, Ryan:

Do you know what flicks the trailer is attached to?

Could you describe the trailer's opening for us, so we'll know when to get up and leave the theatre?

I'm not the biggest horror fan in the world, but it's EASY to see how picky you are about your horror, and I figure if you like this, it's good. And if I'm going to go see it, I want to go in as unspoiled as possible.

No apologies needed, I wasn't going to do a story on those pics because, as you pointed out, some of them are mighty spoiler-filled. I don't think anyone should see what the monster looks like until the film's released, plus we're trying to keep our Jeepers stuff exclusive.

They are some great pics, but be warned.

I can tell you the trailer for the film starts off showing the main characters driving in a car, and they see a body being dumped down a well by an old church. That's all I remember, hope it helps.

First off, Maxim fucked up for only having one page Gina and a whole spread with the new host of Talk Soup. Should be the other way around.

Secondly, I won't be going to see the movie CAUSE I saw the trailer and no matter what anyone says I thought it looked like crap.

I'll see it on DVD...
