I find it very odd that we know absolutely nothing about this film except a few quick flashes. It comes out in less than a month and there hasn't even been a real trailer (just one that was mostly footage from the original). There isn't even a basic synopsis. IMDB says Katie Featherston is back, but they're notorious for inaccuracy. I guess they're convinced what they have sucks and are banking on the name for one-and-done opening weekend. I don't know. The original had multiple sneak previews. The only other 'glass half full' option would be that they started shooting so recently that they don't have enough footage to properly show. Somehow, I doubt that's it, though.

The first didn't show much, just the audience's reaction. I like the idea that possessed Katie is still out there. I just didn't think there needed to be a sequel. I'll probably still check it out.

I didn't know Kate Featherston might be in this film. If that turns out to be true, it will be very, very good for me.

After seeing the clip on the main page, and seeing all of the other clips, I have to say I'm more intrigued by this sequel than I was from the first film. I liked that one, but the added benefit of cameras all over the house, and even outside is a genius idea.

Much like mounting cameras on the GEO guys in [Rec]2.

It's the ending of Halloween all over again. It's so much creepier to think of what it is like to have evil still around, rather than show us through another story.

Trust me, the thought that Michael Myers was missing and still out there was more effective and lasting than the entire additional 90 minutes or so of seeing him kill hot nurses.

I checked out another clip and we seem to be getting more static shots of a stalker who appears to to be Katie.

If they are continuing on with the Katie and Micah storyline, I would have rather they just have chosen new people and a new possession for this sequel, so there would not be the baggage of expectations carried over from the original.
