Rats!

Any personal rat stories?

My family was notorious for getting kittens and puppies and then getting rid of them within a few months.

One morning I was dozing in my bed, you know the stage where you are just barely conscience, your eyes are closed but you're almost awake. I feel my blanket start to slide off due to what feels like a kitten crawling up the side and it's weight is dragging the blanket down. I feel the "kitten" crawl on to my stomach and am thinking great another animal that won't be here very long.

I open my eyes to see a rat sitting on top of me. Needless to say I freaked and the rat left through a hole it had chewed in the floor.

It did return soon thereafter, but that's another story.

Anyone else have one?

Now, maybe I'm biased because I own two rats myself, but I really don't see this fiting in well with the Killings subjects. Granted, there are others out there who fear them (pussies, I call 'em), but perhaps this would go better in Culture & Free Form?

Anyone agree?

Sorry Johnny, I moved it to Culture & Free Form.

I thought that since there was a dream thread that waking up with arat on you was scary, well..

I tried to delete the message but I'm not authorized. Can you kill it?

My sister had a pet rat when she was a teen and she fed that thing so much pizza, booze, and chips that it got to be larger than my cat.

Johnny doesn't want this subject discussed here. Go to Culture & Free Form.

Sorry Johnny.

Don't let Johnny's scolding get to ya, when he scolds me, I just laugh and laugh and laugh! Then he pays me, and it's all good

Speaking of rats.

My favorite rat scene in film was in Screamers.

When the guy was talking about frying rats and how they taste best if you didn't stick them to the pan.

Mmmmm! Lunch anyone?

Ryan, I liked everything about your post except for the fact that it was a RAT you cooked. How about a Guinea Pig or a hamster or something like that? Bastard.
