Wow...those wax figures are impressive in their grotesque inaccuracy for our heroes. Wax Marty is starting to look like Chris Reeve near the end of his life.

This is a classic movie well worth celebrating. I'm just waiting for the updated remake. I don't know what kind of car they could use, the Delorean was perfection.

I saw the headline and, in complete dismay, thought, "Remake!" So, Josh, DON'T. DO. THAT. AGAIN.

Think I'll go to this. The 23rd is a couple of days before my wife's birthday and this is one of her favorite films.

Awesome news!

Minnesota people: it's playing at AMC Eden Prairie and Southdale on both days. I didn't check the other AMC locations.

Tickets bought.

Headed to the October 23rd showing here in NYC. The BttF films are probably my all-time favorite trilogy - excited to see the first film on the big screen for the first time since it's initial release.

I bought tickets when they announced it Monday on Facebook. I missed the 20th Anniversary big screen airing of this, so I'm for sure going to be there this time.

Those wax figures are dreadful! The Marty looks like 2015 circa Marty getting ready to go to an 80s costume party.

How are you people getting tickets? The tickets page for this thing only lets you search ahead to October 5th.

That wasn't the case yesterday. Weird.

You click on October 5th and then the retarded thing jumps to the correct date. I don't know about the other places but the theaters in LA are showing it at 12pm on the weekend day. Fuck that.

Man, that "event" sounds cool. Not $600 cool though. And I spent like $300 on a Flux Capacitor "replica."

You have to click on the showtimes in red. It then takes you to another page, which will tell you if your theater allows for online ticketing. Click on the blue link. After that, you can purchase the tickets.

In San Diego, we have a showing on Saturday Oct. 23, and then Monday Oct. 25.

Not for me. Stays on the 5th. Its highly annoying.

I want to see this in theatres! I think this will be a very fun event!

Can't wait to get the blurays. Does anyone remember the framing fiasco on the dvd's? Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

They're showing it around the UK in October too.

Side note: I saw this about 4 years ago at a midnight showing, and it was pretty much the best thing ever- people were more or less singing along with everything Doc Brown says.

Try going to the landing page for the theater where you intend to see it. Then click on the date dropdown. You should be able to find the dates for the BTTF event there.

That image is absolutely horrifying.

Of course the Saturday showing is the same day of my friends' wedding! Hahaha. I need to go to the Monday showing of this!

Darn it! We have an AMC in Madison, but they're not showing it.

Very cool! I'd attend if there were a theater close enough. Oh well. It was a favorite film of mine growing up. For years and years I lamented the fact that I was not born in '85, the year that BTTF took place. I've gotten past that now but the film still remains a perennial favorite .

If it's alright to ask, I'd like to inquire as to the origin of the photo that ran with the article. Are those figures wax? If so, where are they located? Mr McFly looks 60 years old and Dr Brown looks ethnic. It's absolutely terrifying.

Nothing within 40 miles. Not even in Buffalo.

Balls.

No clue where the wax horrors actually live. Google Image supplied the pic.

Hmm...I saw the trilogy triple feature at the New Bev. Between that and the notoriously low quality of experience at the Burbank AMC, I'm wondering if this is worth going to for me.
Yeah, I bought tickets for the awful AMC Citywalk. Did they upgrade that place to stadium seating? I'll be extra pissed if a good place like the Arclight gets their own screening, unless I can cancel this shit.
I just used Fandango to buy the tickets. I got confused on the AMC website.

I just got my tickets for Fashion Valley.
