AMEN... I love trailers in theaters...

I'm right with you on this, Joshua. I've stopped viewing most online trailers. It makes me feel kind of fogeyish, but makes moviegoing so much more fun, especially since a lot of trailers live or die on the surprise reveal of which movie they're promoting. Kind of hard to be sly about that when you have a full-page Flash background of bullshit screaming the title and release date at you behind the little video box on your browser.

Joshua Miller, I partially agree with you. I love seeing trailers on the...Big Screen, of a movie theater. I do not care about being surprised, though. I love....Spoilers, and do not mind knowing almost everything about a film...Before, it gets released. I watch trailers to upcoming films, tv series and games multiple times a week. I usually watch...2 trailers a day. I love all the clips as well.

Different strokes, Fleed. I cherish the occasions that I get to see a film knowing nothing about it.

Joshua Miller, Different Strokes? Wasn't that a...tv series, from the 80's? Just Kidding. I realize you meant...Different Strokes for Different Folks, and not the series.

You're a rascal, Fleed, you are.

The TV series used the awesomely racist spelling Diff'rent Strokes , btw.

I go through phases where I'll watch every trailer at apple.com, some of them multiple times, and other times I'll go three months without watching a single one. There's no rhyme or reason for it, just a cycle where I'll burn myself out on them and quit for a while.

But there really is no better way to see them for the first time than in the big room, with the big speakers, on the big canvas, the thing unfolding and revealing itself to you, coquettishly, like a brand new concubine.

What?

I had never seen those Indy and Addams Family trailers. Fantastic.
