This is a short story that'll be in the next print edition, but hey, it's Halloween season so I figured I'd throw it up on Scribd.com:
Basically, it's the story of a forty-five year-old man named Marvin Parke who has severe haphephobia (fear of being touched/touching other people) and drops dead in a mall, but then stays "awake" as various paramedics, coroners, morticians, a necrophiliac makeup artist, family members, etc., paw over his body for four days which - for him - is a living Hell, just a fate worse than death. He eventually learns the cause of his sudden departure and things begin to change for him as his burial nears...(muahahaha)

Kind of a bit just for fun, which is why it's a free download, but "Shepherd" should be out in a couple of weeks as it's done and is being formatted.
