Tekken (2010)

I have no idea why they delayed release of this till 2011. This and The King of Fighters both got Theatrical Releases here in Asia.

Stay the fuck away from The King of Fighters though. Trust me, you'll have more fun trying to chainsaw your dick off. It's Epic Fail.

Is Tekken worth watching? Well...yes. Kelly Overton and Mircea Monroe are hot. The plot isn't that much to write about (e.g The Tournament Matchups don't make sense) but by Videogame Adaption standards its servicable enough I suppose.

There're 7-8 solid fight sequences here. No annoying shaky-cam. They're not up to Undisputed 3 standards. But Jon Fu and Gary Daniels have natural Martial Arts skills and its shows well here.

The Gary Daniels Finale fight is a bit dissapointing though. It's ends a little abruptly. I just felt there wasn't enough builtup to it for it to be a great satisfying fight.

All in all, its worth a look.

Felix, I will probably be...TEKKEN the time to watch this on dvd, as opposed to seeing it in theaters. I am sure that the film will provide me with enough...Kicks to be entertaining.

Nothing could be as bad as King of Fighters. It made Mortal Kombat: Annihilation look like.. well.. Mortal Kombat. The good one.

You watched it as well, Trejo? Whew...I thought I was the only one.

The entire thing was a mess. I almost wanted to walk out halfway in the middle of it. Theres not even one coherent fight scene in the entire film.

I couldn't stop laughing at Sean Faris, the whitest white guy to ever white, plays someone named Kyo Kusanagi.

Kyo Kusanagi.

And in the flashbacks to him training as a kid, he's Asian. And then he grows up into a white guy. It's not even a top 20 most ridiculous thing about the movie, either.

KOF = King of Failure
