I'd rather he did something original, but maybe he can turn this into a Soderbergh-like deal: one for them, one for him. I wish Universal would leave the series be, though. Chances of having the fourth installment, no matter who stars, being as good as the rest seems unlikely.

And please, for the love of Xenu, no reboots/prequels.

I was already on the fence when I heard that they were even thinking about making a 4th film (I felt the story had been told). Then Greengrass left the project and I started leaning even further to the "I'm not seeing this" side of the fence. If Damon isn't in it then I for sure am not going to see it.

I guess if anyone's going to make it it might as well be Gilroy.

If it's a prequel it should be about Karl Urban or Clive Owen's characters. Or both. A nice and tragic and badass prequel. Maybe Urban came from the wrong side of the tracks and Owen was brought up in polite society. Maybe they were rivals for the affections of the same woman. Maybe they both had sins to atone for.

I've talked myself into it now. There's no way it's not going to be about Urban and Owen.

Why in the world would any studio go hey lets make another bourne...without Greengrass or Damon. I guess everyone is right and it will probably be a prequel but who cares...it's not Damon

They should make one more. The last one, The Death of Jason Bourne. It would be great to see his final chapter. It would also be nice to see a franchise with an end. Although none of this will happen, whether or not they make the next one a prequel, I gaurantee they are going to keep on making these films. No way in hell are they going to turn down the chance to cultivate Bourne into a Bond like franchise.

Gilroy has said that his script for Supremacy was basically The Searchers of action movies, which I think sounds badass. Kind of psyched about this.
