I take that back. You are probably the least annoying person I've fixated on as a target for my misplaced frustration, joeypants, and I shouldn't take the personal shit I'm going through out on you. So apologies, it's not you, it's me, etc., and I'll try to find better outlets for my nerd aggression, like croquet or mixed martial arts.

Yeah, I'm fairly shocked that this girl thought it was any kind of a decent idea to put names/unblurred faces in there. That's just stupid to think there wouldn't be repercussions. Although I guess I could maybe, maybe see how she'd think this wouldn't go viral or something.

But wasn't it Duke Lacrosse that was in all that hot water a year or two ago? That should've given her hint that there'd be heightened interest.

It sure was. Just got off the horn with a friend who is an athlete at Duke, and she said that it's pretty much a total madhouse on campus today. Local and national media have descended on the campus and are grabbing students for sound bites. She told me that she heard some faculty asking students not to talk to the media, but everyone's yapping to get on TV tonight. It's the top story on all our local stations right now.

Now, CNN is covering this story and comparing it to the Tyler Clementi tragedy. The university is beyond embarrassed. The Duke lacrosse rape case left a really sour taste in people's mouths around here in regards to the school, and this isn't going to help at all.
