Yeah, that's a very fertile locale for some action, thrills and drama, but in many ways it's pretty much a modern day jungle wild west, and gringos best either tread very lightly or have plenty of money behind them for security.

Some other names being thrown around for this that are amazing. SP, LDC, and a few more.

That region of the world is fucked. So much trafficking.

Sean Penn. I hope. I think it was Jamie Foxx who insisted Mann move MIAMI VICE back to Miami for the finale, because he was scared. Maybe he was overreacting, maybe not, but no matter as it resulted in an awesome movie.
