Great article.

Its really neat to see the milestones of the tech side of film making.

Some weird bias going on their though, when you've got The Tingler listed as a blockbuster and Birth Of A Nation and The Jazz Singer listed as flops. There's an awful lot of moral judgement going on for an article ostensibly about technical achievements.

It also oddly credits The Girl Can't Help It as popularizing widescreen films, when 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea had come out four years earlier and was a monster success. It doesn't have Jane Mansfield's rack, but other than that it's also a far better movie.
