Great write-up, Elisabeth. I'm not only a Disney apologist, I'm a Disney fanatic. I agree with all of the points brought up in your article, and boy I love it. Mary Blair . . . Mary Blair. Oh how I love Mary Blair.

One of the talkbackers mentioned the doc Waking Sleeping Beauty... I second that recommendation to the fullest extent. Based on this wonderful little WITF, you would be doing yourself a big favor by seeking it out.

I definitely will. It's been on my radar and I think it briefly played here in Denver -- but too far for me to catch it. Really, really anxious to rent it.

Admittedly, I was thinking how very odd it was that my grandma winds up being mentioned here next to so much of our adult content. But she had a really naughty sense of humor, and loved movies, so I'm pretty sure she'd be thrilled.
