Weird Questions about Porn

1) When did the titles go from simple (Deep Throat) to general descriptions of what you will see (Cum Guzzling Jersey Ass Blasterz 8)?

2) Recently there was another HIV outbreak in the Southern Cal. porn community. Do the studios have some sort of Outbreak style lockdown manuevers to contain it? Do they care?

3) If a porn actor is hurt on the job, does the studio pay workers' comp?

4) Given Larry Flynt Enterprises (Hustler) and company's various assaults on internet piracy, how do the smaller studios feel about online distribution networks? Do some companies willingly leak shit on-line?

5) Was The Office XXX really necessary? LINK

Also, if you are retarded enough to click that link at work...I hope you get fired.

Depends. Are you into lesbians?

My understanding is that the title "DEEP THROAT" does describe the film's content; it's not a movie about WATERGATE

Must . . . resist . . . urge to sig this!

Deep Throat might've been a bad example, but compared to today's schlock...it's a classy title.

Sig it, Ratty.

8) Would it be in bad taste for The Dave Thomas Foundation to start selling unadopted orphans to Porn Studios when they turn 18? Not slavery, mind you. Just indentured sexual servitude.

I can't wait until NickP enters this thread.

In a pinch, but not preferred. If I was more into them, though, I'd be all about Australian site "Abby Winters", which is my girlfriend's preferred site, and has a pleasant light and fun approach to sex. Very feminist friendly.

That is like the nicest porn site that I've ever seen.

EDIT: Fine, if no one was going to do it...I will.

The girls giggle and have funny conversations before hand! It's adorable and perfect for those who don't have aggression towards women.

So it's like a sitcom but with sex? I can deal with that.

9) Name the exact time and date when American Pop Culture is willing to fully embrace pornography. I'm talking Jenna Haze on The Apprentice. I'm talking Sasha Grey actually starring in a mainstream film that people want to see.

I don't have aggression towards women, but I'm quite amused by the anus section on Abby Winters.

Nothing says discrete like a close-up of an asshole.

I didn't mean to imply that anyone who likes different or more typical porn has aggression towards women. Just that typical porn more often than not strikes me as being weirdly aggressive (or at least, too aggressive for my tastes). Mostly what I like about Abby Winters is that the girls actually smile and seem to be enjoying themselves.

To answer one question, I think porn has been threatening a mainstream embrace since the release date of Deep Throat and then through certain key personalities like Ron Jeremy, Traci Lords, and I guess most prominently for a couple of years, Jenna Jameson (she probably is the one who kicked the door down). Now what would truly be amazing is if gay pornstars started getting out there, but that's not happening anytime in the near future. That side of the industry is like a whole other world of violence, addiction and general weirdness.

What are peoples thoughts on amateur porn? You know, when girls take pictures of themselves in the mirror for their boyfriends to fap to and then it ends up all over online.

...is that weird? Do people feel guilty jerking off to that? Or do people just not give it that much thought?

Is non nude porn weird? Because, full disclosure, I'd rather see a beautiful woman in lingerie than a close up of a vagina any day. Does that say to others that I'm sexually immature, or that I have a lingerie fetish, or does it just show that the first thing I ever pulled it to was the lingerie section of a JC Penny catalog? I'm really curious about what others think about this. Not because I need my opinion or thoughts validated, but just because some of the more hardcore porn has always struck me as containing way too many undertones of violence and misogyny (I know that's hypocritical to an extent).

There's one flick - Pink Velvet. That's a good one. Really, all the ass-blasting and scowling is no fun. It seems girl on girl and amatuerish porn have the best ratios of sex that people actually seem to be enjoying.

FireGirls.com. Pretty much everyone they film was friends or more beforehand with the site's creator, who comes off as a genuinely nice, respectful, down to earth sort of guy, and the content there reflects that.

Viv Thomas in general has a pretty non-aggressive, female-friendly catalog. The Pink Velvet and Unfaithful series. The Art of Kissing, etc. Of course, it's almost entirely girl-girl, and largely not English-speaking cast. But there's at least a little bit of time spent setting the scene up, and the performers seem more interested in each other than how long and hard they can go.

And like some of you have said, I much prefer his output and Abby Winters to the marathon pounding sessions on display in most mainstream porn. Give me two (or more) girls giggling and (apparently, at least) having a good time any day.

Yup. A bit in North America, more in Europe. My wife loves Zentropa's productions ( yes the Lars von Trier's company) and some other that are labeled couple-friendly.

From wiki:

In 1998, Lars von Trier also made history by having his company Zentropa be the world's first mainstream film company to produce hardcore pornographic films. Three of these films, Constance (1998), Pink Prison (1999) and the adult/mainstream crossover-feature All About Anna (2005), were made primarily for a female audience, and were extremely successful in Europe, with the first two being directly responsible for the March 2006 legalizing of pornography in Norway.[20]

Lars von Trier : Women too like to see other people having sex. What they don’t like is the endless close-ups of hammering bodyparts without a story
Having seen Constance and Pink Prison, it's good. Depends on what you like.

Yup. Quality enthusiasm and sensuality across the board. For me, that goes a long way.

Here are my questions...

10] I'm not intimidated by male size in porn, but is anyone else bugged out when the extra skin on certain dudes "swallows" the whole thing during manual/oral? Yikes. Looks like he can have sex with his own "sleeve". I don't need to see that. Ever.
11] Is "BigChocoMomma" really living in my area and is she really white?

Answers: Yes, and no. The right question, however, is whether she's really female.

Just for the record, I was trying to refute the premise of Anderson's first question while attempting to be funny about it. On the first count, by Anderson's own admission I succeeded in making an astute point:

Quote:
Deep Throat might've been a bad example, but compared to today's schlock...it's a classy title.
On the second? I have no clue. Are you guys laughing with me or at me? You do realize I am capable of wit, right? Or do you reflexively assume every LOL you receive from my postings is unintentional?

And just to get this back on topic, to answer Anderson's QUESTION FIVE:

No. Though I'm mildly repulsed by the idea of a mirror universe porn OFFICE* where David Brent's clumsy and inadvertent sexual harassment becomes creepy and deliberate

*in the mirror universe OFFICE, does he have no goatee?

12) Does necrophilia count as rape?

13) Can one make a porno where all the sex happens offscreen and you watch people getting hot talking about it?

14) Is amateur porn truly better than studio porn?

15) What is Katie Morgan's appeal?

The "amateur studio" porn is probably the best of both worlds--they get actually hot chicks, but usually skip the lame attempts at "story" and go right to the fucking pretty quickly.

Tossable and energetic. Also, managed to be funny in a post-1999 Kevin Smith movie without being Seth Rogen.

According to wikipedia, there is no federal legislation barring necrophilia. In some states its a felony, in others just a misdemeanor. Also, the DSM IV classifies it as a paraphilia.

Why would they need to? If no one's coming after them for the current crop of parodies, seems like free reign on whatever they want.

I'm just saying...we need to see Camptown Races XXX: A Porn Parody. Especially since all American porn is parody now.

I'd suggest porno-izing the Jane Austen bibliography, but pretty much every period set porno has already done that.

So many ways to horriblize that sentence.

Zombie porn...that's a new one (I think). I mean, they did Avatar XXX and made all the actors/actresses look like the Na'vi....so why couldnt they do the same and make them look like the undead.

Also, Rule 34.

Don't think. It can only hurt the ball club.

Writing/fantasy casting something like this for Pride and Prejudice has been a side-project of mine for a couple of years now. I never seem to get very far with it, but I'd love to see a well-produced, non-anal-pounding adult miniseries made of it. There's a tremendous amount of opportunity in the story for sexual interludes. Jane's visit to the Bingley's, Lydia running of with Wickham, Nina Hartley as Lady Catherine, and finally...Mr. & Mrs. Bennet revealed as the horned-up couple that they are.

It would be great!

Leads me to the question, with DVD skipping and internet clips, does anyone watch a full flick anymore? Have they, since the invention of VCR fastforward?

On this same note, since I havent actually seen porn on DVD almost since the format's inception, has anyone ever taken advantage of the technology at all? I'd imagine the angle function, whereupon I could avoid that back-of-a-man's-taint-bobbing-up-and-down shot mainstream porn loves so much, would be the first thing that would've become standard practice by now.

After reading Robin Bougie's Cinema Sewer I watch "classic" porn as a whole (Devil in Miss Jones is actually a pretty neat flick) and some recent seduction scenes are pretty good when viewed as a whole. But I'm weird.

What the hell goes into the subtitles of porn? "Aoohrh! Fuck! Oh, yeah, right there, yeah, right there! In dat ass, I'm in dat ass!! Yeah! Whoo! Goddamn! Yeah! Ahhh! Makemypussyprolapse! Arrrgggh! Yeah, lovinthatblackcock! Ohhh"

I've seen Closed Captions on porn before. That's EXACTLY what goes in there.

Not that many prolapsed labia involved, though.

I could tell you all about it, but my non-disclosure agreement forbids it.
