Sounding pretty fun. Who's directing this, lazyweb?

He could play the prawn from District 9. Cross marketing!

The cast sounds pretty awesome, but remember how great the cast of Blade 3 looked on paper? "John Michael Higgins, Parker Posey, Eric Bogosian, Natasha Lyonne and Patton Oswalt in a Blade movie!? This must be something interesting and different!" Alas... the best part involved a Reaper Pomeranian.

Alec Baldwin and Gemma Arterton!

Ticket sold.

This movie is like a rubber match, we won the first game, the agents of crapitude won the second... who wins the series? Only time will tell, but we certainly have a great lineup!*

*Sports references done

There is some minor worthwhilness in that movie.

If you like Jessica Biel, the charm of Ryan Reynolds or long, loving, lingering shots of Apple products... Blade Trinity isn't completely worthless.

This cast is markedly more interesting than the Blade 3 cast. In fact, circa 2004 the general reaction to most of those names would've been "Who?"

Still not sold on the film. MIIB was one of the worst 88 minutes I've ever spent in a theatre, doubled due to my love of the first one.

I thought that MIIB had a moment or two. Human Beatbox being an alien language cracked me up. And... ummm... uh... okay. It had A moment. So three good things total if you count Rosario Dawson.*

*See what I did there?

I also really dug Patrick Warburton at the beginning of that movie, and for all of the character's faults, Johnny Knoxville had some decent moments. They were few and far between, but he gave it his all in that role.

Copley was a highlight in A-Team so hopefully he makes this work and figures out his accent.

Alec Baldwin to play 1960's Rip Torn? I get it.

You know what would be hilarious? Present day Rip Torn playing 1960's Rip Torn without any make-up or de-aging effects... and no explanation whatsoever. If they can prop him up long enough to do it.

Baldwin as the 1960s MIB Chief? Perfect. This puts to rest my fears about Emma Thompson getting that gig, and as a D9 enthusiast I have to say the cast is most certainly shaping up quite nicely!
