I don't know shit about Ace Attorney, but I'll spend whatever I have to in order to put more Layton in my life.

A poet. Should've. Sent. A poet.

Whoa! Really? This is awesome. Before my DS got stolen last year I had all the Ace Attorney games and Professor Layton was constantly sucking my life away.

You should correct that post-haste. While they don't really have much in common (except for byzantine plots), I can't imagine a fan of one series not appreciating the other.

Layton is of course a collection of brain-teasers covered in a delicious candy shell. Ace Attorney is a slightly more conventional graphic adventure with a heavy emphasis on logic and deduction. It's sort of like playing the most convoluted Encyclopedia Brown story ever.

Hey, if Studio Ghibli does the cut scenes. Ah shit, even if they don't do the cut scenes, this will be a ton of fun.

Level-5 has always done the gorgeous cutscenes for Professor Layton, which are highly evocative of Studio Ghibli, but are not Studio Ghibli itself. Just to make matters confusing, Level-5 and Studio Ghibli are collaborating on a separate DS project, but Ghibli has never been involved with the Layton series.

This is the best news I've ever read.

Well maybe not, but it's gotta be like top 5.

Two of my favorite gaming franchises, together on the 3ds.

Well Nintendo, you just fucking sold me on it day one. So much for holding out on price drops and stuff..

yeah.. If I can afford a $300 3DS this will be one I will buy.

Still playing the Unwound Future and loving it.
