Ben is interested in 'Replay' adaptation.

This is one of my favorite fantasy novels ever, so I'm very curious to see where this goes. Affleck is actually an excellent choice, both as star and potential director.

Although I will sing a familiar song by stating that this is more suited for a television miniseries, but there we are. Seems in good hands.

Loved this book. Wasn't Brad Pitt attached to this at some point?

We live in quite an amazing world. I read this article, think I'd like to read that book, and within a minute I have it thanks to iBooks (Oddly they had it while Kindle didn't). Gotta love instant gratification.

GROUNDHOG LIFE?
I've actually never heard of this fantasy novel until this CHUD article, although it definitely makes me curious enough to find out more about it. I think Affleck has earned his accolades with The Town, and if he is attached to this adaptation then it is a very good news that it will turn out well. I wonder if he will direct & star in this movie again.

That's pretty much it, except it encompasses 25 years a pop. At first . . .

I am waiting for the inevitable Source Code versus Replay debates. Both should be great sci-fi / time-travel features directed by up-and-coming directors.

Then Looper will jump in and take the lead.

Haven't read the book but the premise sounds great. This could be a great property for Affleck to stretch his directing muscle so I hope he goes for it.

I could do without the inevitable change of ending, though, where he's standing, bearded, gazing out a window.

According to Moriarty this is one of the best script's that were never made. I hope something good comes of it.
