They'd better get a move on this before the Mitch Rapp film gets made. I heard an interview with Vince Flynn a couple of days ago where he indicated that the first Rapp novel was pretty much ready to go.

Shawn ryan? Excellent news. Guess he's resigned to the imminent cancellation of TERRIERS. (which will be awful news).

The book is great. A gripping, tough revenge thriller. As for casting, I thought Liev Schrieber made a great John Clark. They'll never cast him, but I think it could work because by the time the movie's released it will be 10 years since SUM OF ALL FEARS.

Continuity doesn't matter because as we know it's all about marketing. 99% of the moviegoing public will have a vague memory of him being in one of the Ryan movies and that's it.
