MAVERICK, a former Top Gun pilot, now teaches young hot shots the secrets of air combat, sending the failures to fly rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong. SWAN*, a brash new recruit, tests Maverick's patience while reminding him of his younger, gayer self. After several hot, sweaty confrontations and some uncomfortable back patting in the men's room, Maverick and Swan end up facing Chinese jets in a desparate fight to save a super-secret aircraft carrier foundering in the Pacific. The carrier, code-named ROLLOVER, is captained by RON HUNTER, eager to prove his warlust after screwing the pooch on a certain nuclear submarine mission.

lotta potential for an interesting take on the impersonal nature of war and military propaganda through video games in today's world... if they get a decent script.
