Who Were You?

Thread Starter
This will end badly, because all my threads do, but what the hey:

I was talking to Chris Anthony when I realized he used to be Desert Squirrel. There are a few chewers who changed handles over the years and I have no way to know who was who. When they change their names, all their old posts (and quotes of their old posts) reflect the new name. Plus now everyone is named Greg or Chris or Justin, and it's hard to keep track.

If you joined in the past year and changed, don't sweat it. If you've been banned and rejoined under a new name, probably in your best interest to not post. I'm talking Poxy Von Sinister, soybomb, Nigel St. Buggering type changes. Post in here and tell me who you used to be. Like this:

70sCinema>Phil!>Phil

You can post more info than that, but do you need to?

Not much of a change, since all I did was put my real first name in front of my old username in parentheses but here goes.

I'm Parker. Always have been. Always will be.

I respect you "real name" folks but I kinda like my anonymity.

Phil, might I take this opportunity to ask a) why you had the exclamation point and b) why you decided to lose it?

I actually thought Phil! and Phil were two different posters for a bit.

I'm an idiot.

I obviously signed up with the intention of never posting or trolling at the very least. I'm sure I insulted a handful of people at that point, and then I decided to just man up and attach my name to the insults.

I've always been barkatthemoon.

My real name is Richard K. Graham, you know, if ya'll wanna swap spit in the shower or something.

I'm small change around here but just for the record - I've always been Bucho (a real life nickname from a buddy). My mum still calls me Ben though.

Great idea for a topic too, some of those discussions in old threads will make more sense.

I assumed a board with thousands of registered users would have a "Phil" on it. So I jazzed it up. Then I got less excited.

Yeah, I've had people calling me Stormin regularly since the 8th grade.

Heh, I always found it was easier to use my real nickname online (as long as it wasn't already taken of course - curse you other Buchos!) just so I could remember it more easily than some made-up internet handle. Besides, I like the personal touch.

When I first signed up back in 2001 from memory I was Rain Dog '76.

I'm not sure why I come up as having joined in '04 these days, if memory serves my membership got accidently deleted in a board overhaul and I along with a few others had to rejoin - does that ring a bell with anyone else?

Heh, my name is much the same. Though on other boards "Chavez" is often taken (though by some squatter in most cases), so I fall back to my default board name - if you see some "Conrad Mazian" on another board, drop a line and see if it's me.

Small upgrade.

I had nothing to do with that guy who went by "Nexus" from South America.

I was spacktard for about a month then I changed to my real name. I got caught up in the whole Scorched Planet thing so changed to my real name as a sign of good faith.

Edited to add, I'm still ashamed that my first steps into the interenet were through a dumb site like that but I am very greatfull to Nick for giving me a chance and letting me stay.

IF true, this floors me. Although, I will say upon reflection, the coolness of Omega2 does indeed fit into the coolness of flyarz.

There were days where I liked to believe a Crovvx is some mythological raptoresque lizard that hunts and eats babies during a harvest moon. Then I realized I was fucking retarded.

PsycheOut00* always was, PsycheOut00 always will be (unfortunately). I just can't change to my real name or something like "Tito" as my mom calls me and that'd definitely cause much confusion in these boards, but quite recently I asked for at least the removal of my double-O status and couldn't due to the new board rules.

*Pause*

*Pause*

See? Even after these subtle hints, these friggin' mods have a heart of stone.

Also, my username history has always been pretty simple:
