I want Space Batman.  Where he punches aliens.  Just 100% alien punching.  In space.

And his helmet doesn't cover his whole head.  Because he can breath in space.  Because he's Batman.

Also, I still want to see that Robin before he was Robin TV show named Grayson.

I'm pretty sure Bruce Wayne was supposed to appear on Smallvile, and eventually he was supposed to get his own show.

He did, only they called him Green Arrow for some reason.

You guys doing the Batman trilogy marathon or just The Dark Knight Rises at midnight?

My ass falls asleep at the thought of the former.

Naw man, a true Batman fan will see all of the Batman movies from Batman 1966 to The Dark Knight in order to prepare.

The track listing for the soundtrack is out.

Seconded. Far too old for almost 8 hours in a theater seat.

I just want to say: fucking love the cover design. It's a continuity break from the previous two, but really digging the simple, iconic image.

wow, that track listing is spoilerific.

Can't believe there is a track called "His name is Killer Croc"

My fiance (we get married Saturday!) got me tickets today cause I had to work. This is the only movie series where I have been at the opening midnight show for each installment (Begins, TDK, TDKR). So excited for this and it's her first IMAX movie. Can't wait to see/hear/smell her poo her pants.

Gonna have to get there early so thinking about bringing one...probably two flasks.

Quick question, in both Batman Forever and The Dark Knight, they refer to Two-Face as "Harvey Two-Face". Was he ever known as this in the comics? He was always my favorite Batman villain, yet all the comics I own simply call him Harvey Dent or Two-Face......never Harvey Two-Face. It's always kinda bugged me in the movies.

I tried doing the LOTR thing when I was just shy of 30. By the end I felt like Frodo, unable to remember the feel of sun or the taste of food. I can watch one Batman movie a day in the days preceding.

I feel like we've already learned too much about your relationship with your fiance. Mazel tov, by the way!

I'm not into doing marathons in any shape or form.  Just TDKR for me!

I have read most of the two face appearances since his first silver age and I don't remember that as a nickname from anyone.  If it was used, it wasn't a lot or by any particular writer that I remember.

Just checking, but is it confirmed that we'll be getting a Liam Neeson cameo in this one?

Yep.

The wife just snagged tickets for the trilogy opening night in Chicago on 7/19 -- AMC is screening the entire Nolan-series, culminating with TDKR at midnight:

Be great to watch Batman Begins on the big screen again after all these years.

That's the biggest draw for me - seeing BEGINS on the big screen. But both work and age deny me the pleasure. It's TDKR alone, for me.

And just purchased tickets - taking my older daughter with me to the midnight screening. Can't wait!

I bought my IMAX midnight tickets.

Normally, I'm all about the marathons. One of my favourite movie memories is attending a 2008 Rambo-thon, where the room exploded with enthusiasm for 7 glorious hours. Every time Trautman boasted of Rambo's combat prowess the place went apeshit. So much fun.

But the fact that the Nolan films are all so recent kills the fun for me. I've seen them more than once on the big screen, and not so long ago. I prefer it when marathons involve older works that haven't been in theatres for a while. For example: I would have been all over an Alien one.

First he'd befriend low level crooks, but gradually get  drawn deeper into a web of organized crime and sinister plots which he'd find himself ill equipped to tackle. There could be hints he hears about the League of Shadows, perhaps we have a disguised Neeson cameo where Bruce talks to him without knowing who he is. At the end he'd realize that the problems of the world were bigger than one man could handle, and would head out (perhaps on the run from the triads) to receive his ninja training at the mysterious mountain dojo.

I just think they should do a prequel that's pretty much just like "Cold Weather."

Anyone? Hello? Yes?

I'd like to see a prequel with Bruce Wayne as a sperm and how he fights the other sperm to get to the egg. Call it "Bruce Wayne Begins". One of the sperm could even pose a riddle for him. wink. wink.

He won't ever be in the suit, but fuck... what a ride!

I rather see the prequel with Bruce's dad in Medical School, and how he falls in love with his wife.

And Godfather II that film, make it have flash backs to the Waynes helping with the underground railroad.

You guys...

But seriously. A prequel about how Lucius Fox spent his time in the archives before Wayne came along needs to be made.

Jokes aside, a movie about Alfred in his younger days would have my full attention.

Nah, let's just make the movie about the origins of the Ruby. We'll call it "The Size of a Tangerine"

Harvey Dent prequel about his early days, and his "two faced' decissions.

Ah, fuck it, I will tell you guys what Nolan's next film is.

"The Homeless Guy, and His Jacket"

You guys are forgetting about the most fascinating story yet untold: RACHEL DAWES: RISE OF THE ASSISTANT D.A.

Is that supposed to be another "Maggie Gyllenhaal is ugly" joke? Are we still doing those?

The fuck? Which dumbass motherfuckers spewed that shit? I think I need to go bust some fools.

...Sorry about that. Apparently when I get angry on the Internet, my inner Samuel L. Jackson/Mr. T surfaces. That "complaint" always reeked of misogyny and/or sexism to me. Gyllenhall's an unconventional sort of beautiful, but to say that she's ugly just because she, say, doesn't have giant breasts or a Kardashian ass is crazy talk. At least, I'm assuming that's where the mouthbreather criticism is coming from. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Having made Secretary Maggie Gyllenhaal is far more interesting than Katie Holmes will ever be.

The sad thing is that Holmes isn't even BAD in Begins. She's just completely outmatched acting-wise by everyone else in it. Gyllenhall, by contrast, is on roughly the same level as Bale, Eckhart, Ledger, etc.

Holy shit man, don't blow an aneurysm.  It's not my fault Katie Holmes is better looking and Maggie looks like a troll.

Sorry I don't think she is the slightest bit attractive.  What is this now, we can be honest with our opinions.

Or has the "we all go out for ice cream" culture infiltrated this now.  Okay, she is beautiful in her own way... happy?  And she also gets a trophy, and a juice box after little league.
