Huh, well you do have a valid point there. I haven't read the book but I've heard of it, does he actually say people are more genetically predisposed to a certain ideology?

I find it hard to believe people's political choices are 40% in the genes, especially since a lot of the study seems to depend on whether or not people had an active social life growing up.

Hehehe, Dawkins' book doesn't have anything to do with political ideology. I think Jack was just joking. Dawkins just uses the term 'selfish' to describe the way the primary drive of a gene to replicate itself.

Somewhat related to this:

EDIT: It's funny (or tedious) the way this information showing up on Fox News immediately puts a spin on it. If only I'd first read it on the many other sites that feature the same information!
