She is a fantastic folk(?) singer from Iceland whose delicate and beautiful 2nd album is slowly becoming my favorite of the year with every listen, which is very odd for me because I don't really listen to folk or any of its close variations. The mostly Icelandic language album was released last month so get it now if you like what you hear.

Notable credits include production by Kjartan Sveinsson of Sigur Ros and wonderful backing vocals by Bjork in 'Surrender.'
