Flushed away is better than people give it credit for. It got a lot of backlash for not being stop motion. However I think I'm biased, I love Aardman more than I love Pixar.

This new film sounds interesting and I will be checking it out.

Flushed Away was decent, but it showed heavy signs of being tampered with by Dreamworks to make it more "commercial" (I know for a fact they altered the opening to "explain" why the lead character was in a tuxedo, to make him seem less snooty, or less British, or something...never mind that it's crucial to the theme...) The mere fact that they had to branch out into CGI was probably Dreamworks' doing, because apparently every animated movie ever has to be the same.

That said, I know claymation is a bitch to do, and probably explains why we haven't seen anything from Aardman for a while now. I'm perfectly willing to give further CGI efforts from Aardman a chance, as long as they have a personality of their own.
