Sounds cool, but Western New York gets shut out again and I already have my IMAX ticket anyway.

The AMC theater here at CityWalk is not only running midnight shows on all twenty screens, but 3:15am shows as well. The midnight record is probably getting shattered.

I was talking to a couple of AMC exhibitors about this on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. They were all floored by the film. What I don't get is why WB is kicking over so many Potter perks to that chain before anyone else?

Yeah. Problem is, both AMC theatres in Rochester and Buffalo are not high-end. The one in Rochester is probably the oldest first-run theatre in the city. Hell, I remember seeing Beetlejuice there.

Of all the theater chains WB could have gone with, why AMC though?
