Two of my favourite things, animals and photography. These pictures are so beautiful they could make your eyeballs melt.

Amazing photos! The baby and mama seal snuggling made my heart melt. And I'm continually amazed at how scary looking ants are. No likey.

Great menu.

Awesome! Anyone interested in large migrations should check out BBC'S PLANET EARTH which has some startling footage of large bird flocks, a school of 500 dolphin, and more!

PLANET EARTH is great, I need a Blu Ray player and a flat screen TV so bad.

And these pictures still take my breath away. The polar bear on the melting ice is a sad one though.

Someone needs to take that photo of the salmon and slap a big ol' "DERP" on it post haste. I'd do it, but I'm lazy.

Also, these pictures are incredible. I'm going to have to snag a couple to put in my wallpaper folder.

Great pics, WG. I'll second Diva's seal family heart-melting.

Magic. I don't know what's creepier out of the jellyfish shot and the ants. The eagle on eagle violence is wild. Literally.

Even on dvd on my flat screen, Planet Earth looks breath-taking. I just got the new series the PE people have done, Life, which has some even more incredible visuals if that's possible. Gods bless the BBC Natural History Department.

Not much to say except thanks for finding these, I've been sending them around to much delight.

The page of microscopic photos is unbelievable as well, especially if you're into psychedelia at all:

Holy crap! I did not even see those before!

Why are human cancer cells so pretty? That's a little disturbing.
