I doubt it'd be that difficult. A Doctor Strange / Doctor Fate kind of thing, whatever. I suppose you can have Merlin protecting some messianic figure that would serve as an analogue for Arthur and whatnot. Not too hard.

I hope they can find a better marketing angle than Disney had for The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Or maybe they can make this movie with convincing special effects. No, it'll be a bunch of glowing green energy blasts and cartoon dragons. But set in modern day, ooh!
