Wizard World Con In Austin, TX (November 12-14)

This is the first convention that I'm going to be attending, and it sounds like fun. Really looking forward to hitting the dealer room.

Wish I could go all three days, but I'll only be there on Saturday.

Any other fellow Texas Chewers attending?

Rene (Mr.Eko), I hope you enjoy your first Convention. One of my favorite part of these conventions, is that there is usually a panel about some big upcoming genre film. In San Diego, fans were treated to 20 min of Tron Legacy. In the past at NYCC, I saw 20 min of, Hellboy 2, and Watchmen. Guillermo Del Toro was there to discuss his then upcoming classic. Dave Gibbons Talked about Watchmen.

I know a bunch of NOLA and Louisiana folks going. Sadly I will not. Although Wizard just bought our comic con here, so interested to see what they do with it.

I know at the Alamo Drafthouse they're going to show the awesome sounding, Aliens Vs. Ninjas on Saturday night as part of the Con, but unfortunately I won't be able to go to it.

There's going to be a Q&A on saturday with Adam West and Burt Ward, and also Ray Park. Hope to attend those.

Just looked at the guest list and it's pretty sweet, Eko. Don't you dare leave that convention center without getting photos taken with Gil Gerard and the Soup Nazi.

If I can, I'll certainly take photos of them. I'd like to meet Lou Ferrigno. That would be great.
