As I stated in the previous thread when this was just a rumor, I think Farrell could do fine work, but he requires a more serious director who is interested in emotional introspection to really shine. I worry that he'll come off looking dull, given the pedestrian talent behind the camera

Fassbender or Hardy (the other choices mentioned) might have been better

Still though Farrell is one of my favorites so I'll hold out hope

I hope they cast Peter Dinklage as Quato. At least we still have the original to revisit when we please.
