Some Hangover II casting news.

It's a sequel - lets get crazy and have even BIGGER cameos than last time! And lets do something even CRAZIER to Ed Helms . . . what's worse than losing a tooth? This has to be an X-TREME hangover! And the little talking dog that was in the first movie - lets put him in a suit and make him an agent!!! We could bring the funny coffee drinking bugs back, too, and give them a larger part in the story - people loved those little bastards!! And, although it happens first chronologically, lets have Indy try to shoot TWO swordsmen, but the joke will be he forgot his gun and actually has to fight them!

But how do you REALLY feel?

I support Bill Clinton in Hangover II. I also support George W. Bush in Cars 2: The Quickening. I also support future former president Barack Obama in The Avengers. More political officials in the movies please. Put those acting skills to use!

Well, Scruff has a good point about Sequel Bloatation: I am worried about II but if they keep it core-group centric all should be fine.

They might be going a bit overboard. But I love the Clinton cameo.

I have to say, I find it mildly distasteful to see a former American President stooping to a H2 cameo. My reaction is coming on the heals of Clinton's praise for W's pro torture opus, so that is what informs my take on this. Clinton is just not someone I'm a fan of, and I wish as a former head of state he'd have had more dignity than this

I didn't really like H1, but I know not every movie is going to be for me. I know not every actor I like will pick film roles that I enjoy either. However, when it's someone who worked for eight years to lead this nation on the global stage, seeing him turn up in something so LCD feels kind of inappropiate. It's like leaving the white house and using his cred as the 'fast food president' to win a role as the new BK 'King'

I did like the core group as a working unit. The conflicting yet codependent personalities really clicked with those guys and if they can be kept busy during the running time with sets and gags that are fun, we should be in for some good entertainment. I'm not concerned about the cameos as long as they don't drag or seem trite. I know this will be another opportunity to have at least two triple cognacs before entering the theater to watch adults acting silly.

They turn our politicians into celebrities in order to get them elected. This seems like a fairly natural step to me. Unexpected...but expected, you know?

Just looked at imdb and Ken Jeong is back in this. This is a perfect example of my previous comment - a character who most likely won't fit into the story in an organic way). Hangover 2 has City Slickers 2 written all over it!
