New pic for the sequel.

I still don't get why they chose not to use the headlights as eyes and instead put in some FINDING NEMO eyes into the windshield.
Cars look like monsters or characters naturally by the way the front is designed, putting additional eyes in just seems so uncreative.

Don't Toy Story 2 and 3 count as Pixar Sequels?

Still don't get all the hate for the original...then again I don't get why The Walking Dead gets so nitpicked over on the TV boards.

And I think Brad Bird has said he has no interest in doing Incredibles 2.

Apparently there's a lot of new car characters in this installment. I still wonder why, of all the excellent Pixar films, this is the first one to get a sequel, considering that's its the least regarded.
Simple. Least regarded by adults doesn't mean least regarded by children. The merchandising made bajillions.

I think putting the eyes up on the windshield removes the possibility that there's someone in there driving the car. Maybe makes the cars seem more "alive".

Also: Not really the first Pixar film to be sequalized. But I'm sure you already knew that.

Yeah, forgot to include the "aside from Toy Story" blurb in the article. That was quickly rectified.

Bajillions seems a bit tame when used to describe the amount of money Disney/Pixar made off of Cars. I seriously don't know a family with a young boy that hasn't spend a decent amount of money at least, on Cars merchandise.
