Well first of all dude im not arguing, I am going to see this film, period. The trailer was great. What I mean is when I see a horror movie, or an action movie or a fantasy movie with dragons and murdering shit with swords........thats pretty much what I want to see. Usually I just want to see the guy kill the dragon or fight the demon and comedy actually gets in my way. I know many love slap sticky stuff but to me it's usually not funny enough to make me forget about the action story stuff, sorry.

However I will say out of your list yeah I did love some of those. Army of Darkness actually is the perfect example "ones that work" along with Evil Dead 2 of course, problem is not everyone can handle things like Sam raimi. Also yeah Stardust and Princess Bride were solid. Liked Liar Liar when I was young but now find Jim Carrey's bullshit annoying. But Groundhog Day and Pleaseantville are good as well but they don't suffer from the "stop being funny and shoot that guy in the head" thing im talking about.

Basically what im saying is I don't like Pinapple Express but I think im going to like this. Yeah I know everyone around here loved that but I just couldn't gel with it.

No, I'm with you. I didn't laugh at Pineapple Express anywhere after "Fuck Jeff Goldblum!" Doesn't mean it's a bad flick, just that it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not a big Danny McBride fan, but something about his silly British accent makes him more endearing to me.
