Nobody's loss, honestly.

Although, even if turns out to be a disaster, I Am will probably be the most interesting thing he's ever done.

Yeah, Evan Almighty and Patch Adamswere steaming piles, but he's produced some fun, albeit inconsequential, work. I dunno, it's hard to hate on him much. He seems like a genuinely nice hippy-ish guy who just isn't interested in playing the game anymore. Whatever makes him happy.

Yeah, hard to hate the guy. But the snarky tone of that article was annoying. "The guy thinks he's Gandhi! Har har har!"

HBO Films has hired Tom Shadyac-- who directed Evan Almighty, the Ace Ventura movies, and was recently reported to be living in a trailer park-- to direct a biopic based on the life of Sam Kinison, the caustic 80's comic who died back in 1992. Dan Fogler is rumored to be slipping into the coat-and-hat ensemble to play the comedian

Say what you will about Shadyak but his Jim Carrey team ups have always made me laugh.
