Solid review -- and captions. Looks like it was a similar experience to Unrivaled -- another Tapout offering.

A friend of mine emailed me his own review entitled "14 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER WATCHED LOCKED DOWN" earlier this week. It made me chuckle so I'll share it with you. I guess there's a minor spoiler warning here in case you were thinking of seeing it, as a few plot details are revealed.

1. Having a cop fatally shot - instead of screaming from this event, shouts "NOOOOOO (I've been shot)!!!!" as he drops dead.

2. The lead character, doesn't even get his name in the top 4 billing slot. Instead they give them to Jones, a couple of (real-life) fighters in it for one fight scene each and a FEMALE prison guard who barely speaks and is of no point to the film. Plus - this is a MALE prison!! There would be no females at all!!!

3. Having prison guards receiving head during their shifts from the seriously huge number of hookers seemingly available in the isolated prison. And also having other randomly inserted copulating scenes every 20 mins - if you go to prison, this one's gotta be at the top of your list.

4. For ABSOLUTELY NO REASON heading to another totally unrelated prison to show another cage fight for five minutes, before coming back and continuing. I mean WTF is that????

5. Adding a totally pointless SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION sub-plot where the cellmate describes (complete with flashback scenes) how he's been chipping away at his wall for years with a spoon and keeping it covered - even though the hole has been completed for ages and gone all the way through.

6. NOT USING THE HOLE TO ESCAPE.

7. Asking your cellmate to be your martial arts trainer, who isn't a martial artist. Suddenly during training scenes, said cellmate turns into the Yoda of martial arts and starts dispensing some serious knowledge on meditation, enemy weaknesses and principles of aikido, jinjitsu and karate!!

8. The other "actors" (that aren't real life fighters). Why they chose this career choice will always be a great mystery.

9. Receiving a judge's court order within minutes in the middle of the night so the cops can extract out their framed colleague.

10. The cage wall just breaks. FOR NO REASON. As a result of this shocking turn of events, the Chief Guard just starts opening fire with his M16 Assault Rifle, murdering the prisoners. No attempt at trying to restore order.

11. Vinnie Jones is an AMERICAN gangster with an COCKNEY accent. Go figure.

12. Vinnie Jones.

13. Vinnie Jones.

14. Vinnie Jone

That was amazing. The Kimbo as Newt caption and Fart-ouken belong in the caption hall of fame.

J David, mason, thanks for the kind words!

MrSaxon, Vincent's Union Jack tattoo is clearly visible in one scene, highlighting the puzzling nature of his American prison sentence even further.
