Are they still trickling out?

Just wondering, I know it's only been like a day.

For the past few days when I click on threads the title doesn't unbold on some of them when I refresh the new posts link. Is this something going on with the changeover?

Fear not. I got yanked onto another huge project and haven't been able to address the other 80% of the responses we've gotten. By end of next week everyone that responded to the call should hear something back from me.

Nick is also prepping to announce the domain name in a couple of weeks. I don't know if this was mentioned or not, but there's really no amazing purpose behind us being so hush-hush about "the new site." It's just that the investor isn't ready to make it public knowledge or begin the official buzz, and we gotta listen to the money man upstairs. Meanwhile, we're busy behind the curtain polishing our social media marketing strategy to get the buzz out pre-launch.

(This is also why when people bitch about CAPTCHA, we just shake our heads because most people have no idea how much blood and sweat and SEMEN goes into all of this between the current CHUD site, CHUD re-launch, and the launch of the "new site." We have a small but VERY dedicated staff as well as volunteers that bust our asses daily, even on weekends and vacations. We have enough ulcers by now to share with a small university. That being said... it's worth it.)

Still accepting emails. I'm not gonna turn help away. Ever.

Oh no, we're all fully aware of how much semen is involved in the captcha system, we're just sore about where it's deposited.

1. We're trusting you with the editor's package if you got one. No sharing.
2. If you go to the trouble to send samples or submit an assigned sample piece and we do not choose to run it or have you continue contributing, please know that we appreciate your time. Your help is still and would be still valuable to us in the form of grassroots marketing efforts by handing out stuff for us in your home town, word of mouth, and helping to create facebook and twitter buzz. Any and all help is just wonderful.
3. The link for submissions on the style guide does not work because the site is not live yet. Ignore that part. Just email to me at andrea@chud.com by the deadline we agree on.
