I had to install OpenOffice.org just minutes ago in order to view some comments on a text document.
Having some experience on Google Docs I was wondering if I should enter the OOo game. I'm a big fan of the former and I bet it will have incremental advantages soon (mostly cloud based stuff).

I've only dabbled in GoogleDocs and they seem cool. Having your shit in the cloud makes a ton of sense sometimes. But Open Office is much more feature rich for now at least. Everyone I've got to switch from MS Office to Open Office was super happy and had zero problems. And now that its development forked away from Sun we might see more cool stuff, faster than we did until now.
