Michael Bay's has definitely boarded the 3D train, and spits his opinion at silly internet nerds.

Michael Bay abuses his pets on set.

You heard it here first.

When he advises me not to see his movie in 2D, I think he's on the right track. I think I'll just complete the picture by not seeing it in any D at all.

Whoever does the Michael Bay schtick here on CHUD, I dare, nay, I double-dare you to write a letter to Penthouse/Entertainment Weekly in full character.

Unless word-of-mouth is wildly positive I'm not seeing this. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me 3D-ice, and that's a dick in my face.

I'm on board with this. Watching a shitty movie is one thing. Watching a shitty movie while shitty things are thrown at my face is just irritating.

But where am I going to see boobs in 3D?!

Oh wait, the real world.

I don't want to see autobot/decepticon testicles in 3D.

Oh dear god, Bad Boys 3D: Damn, damn, damn.

Transformers 3, in...3D? Ticket Sold! BAYHEM, will come right...AT you. As in, You, the audience! I cannot wait for the climactic battle of...Rock Em Sock Em Robots in...3D! It is sad that...Foxy Megan will be missing, but a...Rosie, by another name will smell and look just as...sweet!

I hope his witty Moron banter makes it into the script. The guy makes Kevin Smith's forum fan interactions seem mature in comparison.

They see me shooting in 3D. They hatin'.

Aaaaah cocaine - it really is a helluva drug.

Let me say first I am not picking on anyone or getting personal but who cares about this?

This seems like a non story. Would have rather heard an opinion piece on why we need Tranformers 3 at all.

It will make money. And the people making it like money.

The almost 2billion bucks that the franchise has made so far is why we need a new one.

I had no idea this was actually being shot in 3d. I could have sworn he was railing against 3d while shooting was going on.

He was railing against conversion. And was trying to be sold on shooting in 3D. Guess he was sold on it. Or sold out (hey-yo).

Transformers 3, is the...Epic conclusion to the, 3 film saga depicting the ongoing war between the...Autobots and Decepticons! On top of this, it is in...3D! Transformers 3, should be one of the...Best films of 2011!

And don't watch this movie in 2D, we made it for 3D.
Snarky comment number 1: He probably could have ended that sentence with "And don't watch this movie."

Snarky comment number 2: I wish they would have made it for people with fully functioning brains.

That's all I got.

Um, yeah, this is a man who clearly understands nothing of the principals on which my revolution was founded. "Don't see it in 2D, it was shot for 3D"? Let me be clear: I've long held that every movie is better in 3D, if for no other reason than immersion. I know that some of the new cinematic language being devised for 3D films includes shots and sequences that lets the audience look at the world in a way a 2D film could not. With that said, given his previous simple minded dismissal of 3D as a "gimmick", I don't believe for one moment he's shot a TRANSFORMERS film that displays a subtle use of perspective and spacial relationships. I think if Bay thinks he "shot for 3D", this means tea cups comin' atcha. Not that I would ever see another TRANSFORMERS film in the first place, but just because you shoot in native 3D does not mean you are using the technology the way it is supposed to be used. It sounds very much like he's shot a gimmicky film (full of things flying out at the audience) that would look ridiculous in 2D, and not like he's shot an innovative film that benefits from the new tool box made available through the 3D Revolution

PS Bay's rants are childish and embarrassing. He rants and raves and comes off looking no more intelligent than the commenters he's railing against. A man with zero class

Ladies and gentlemen, we have confirmation that Princess Kate is actually James Kameron.

On international news now, Munich's Oktoberfest is becoming monthly as a measure by the Bavarian government to improve tourism.

Stay tuned for the weather.
