This may be premature, but it looks like I'll be sticking around NYC for the time being. Evangelion remains one of my all time favorite television shows, animated or otherwise, and I have been looking forward to seeing the new stuff stateside. That I can see it in a theater is something I never imagined.

I hope the new ending prompts people to send in death threats again.

I fucking HATE the original Evangelion (long story short: Anno lets a lot of pretentious bullshit drag down a potentially interesting story, I hate almost every single character, and not in a good way), but the first Rebuild movie was really quite good, so I'm looking forward to this.

I actually thought Shinji was a lot less annoying in 1.0, but that might just be me.
