I am still waiting for the official press conference/event/release from EON. Also, it will be interesting to see who wins up writing this sucker.

But yes, please bring on another Bond. I am ready for it.

Oh joy. The next Bond movie will be an Oscar baiting piece of shit from the director of REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, the writer of THE QUEEN, and with Judi Dench in it. At last, a Bond movie for my nana!

Early poster art has been released:

This is what happens when you get 55-year-old women like Barbara Broccoli producing your James Bond movies.

Heh, you're the first person I thought of while reading this, Paul.

Revolutionary Road is truly painful. I don't understand what the purpose of the movie was, other than Oscar Bait as mentioned above.

Would it help if the plot was Judi Dench . . . IN OUTER SPACE???

Having said that, Mendes is probably one of the least promising big name directors attached to a Bond film apart from, say, Nancy Meyers.

Sam Mendes did direct...Road To Perdition, and that was a solid flick. I think that re-teaming with Daniel Craig, is a great Idea.

PERDITION has some admirable qualities, but it's incredibly static, which is the last thing a Bond film needs to be.

That settles it: Zach Snyder. "Bond..." [speed ramp to close up of Bond, to super-slow-mo of Bond throwing dice through the air... the dice fill the frame and phase through the lens, camera pans around table to Bond, looking at the woman in burlesque-wear that asked the question] "James Bond." and then HEAVY METAL, MUTHAFUCKA!!!!!

Please just give it to Spielberg already. He just did a cartoon and a movie about a horse. Throw him a bone while he's feeling experimental.

Spielberg made his Bond movie already. It was called RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

And also pre-dated the "serious Bond" of the Craig era a year earlier with MUNICH. Also starring Daniel Craig!
